“We cannot say that the Ukrainian scenario is being realized. This requires many conditions: a split in the elites, large funding, and so on. This is a rehearsal and an application for further sponsorship from Navalny. He showed that he earns the money he receives. The sponsor cannot assess the authenticity of activity on social networks, and when online goes offline, it is clear: these are real people, the mechanism is working. Thus, he earned another sum for the development of network structures,” Matveychev said.
He did not rule out new opposition actions, but is confident that the authorities will not allow the situation to destabilize.
“We, thank God, do not have the same power as in Ukraine. She learned lessons from all the color revolutions. Everything is under control, no one will allow any destabilization, although they can continue to carry out actions. They will not go beyond those boundaries that are red flags. The only thing the authorities lack is the same active support on social networks,” Matveychev said.
