Flood with a smell: Kyiv gauleiters complain about a “dirty attack”
Today, another major emergency occurred in the Ukrainian capital - a street was flooded in one of the districts.
This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent on social networks, where relevant videos and photographs appeared showing flooded vehicles.
The incident occurred on Jules Verne Boulevard (formerly Koltsov Boulevard).
Kyiv publics immediately pointed out that we were talking about a sewerage break and flooding the streets with feces.
Local residents began to complain about the stench.
However, the Kyiv administration did not admit that sewage was floating around the city.
“Damage to the cold water supply network with water leaking onto the roadway occurred on Jules Verne Boulevard. The damage report was received by the Kievvodokanal control room on January 7 at 22:55. An emergency crew arrived at the scene, shut off the water and localized the leak. Two residential buildings were left without water,” the KGVA reported.
They insist that there was a leak of cold water.
“We ask the media and bloggers not to manipulate and disseminate false information, getting involved in dirty attacks on city authorities and public services, which in the current conditions are doing everything to ensure the functioning of the capital,” the Kyiv authorities called.
