“I’ll freeze my ears out of spite”: Yatsenyuk will ban exports to Russia - he will punish Putin
Kyiv, July 18 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine will join Western countries that have imposed sanctions against Moscow and will stop trade with Russia. Therefore, Ukrainian producers need to look for new markets for their products.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a meeting in Kyiv.

According to him, according to preliminary estimates, if the Russian market is completely closed, the export of Ukrainian products will decrease by approximately $5 billion.
“My forecast is the following: we must prepare for the fact that we will have an almost complete restriction of trade with Russia in a bilateral format,” the official said.
“Western countries impose sanctions against Russia, close bilateral trade, and also incur losses, and we think that everything will pass so easily - this is wrong, this does not comply with international law, and this does not correspond to the basic concept - our dignity,” he said Yatsenyuk.
“I am aware of all the economic consequences, but I also realize that Russia is not the only market in the world to which Ukrainian products should be supplied,” he added.
According to him, many companies have already independently entered other markets and are finding opportunities to sell their products. “Otherwise, it turns out that we are in a virtual state of war and say: buy a million dollars worth of products from us. This is not normal for me. (Russian Federation. - Ed.) cut off the gas, set the price at $500 (For 1 thousand cubic meters of gas. - Ed.), knowing that each of you is suffering and the whole country, a trade embargo was introduced on all products, which is possible and not possible , and left only what they simply physically cannot do without. However, they very confidently supply weapons, Buks, tanks, money and shoot our soldiers.”
The head of government noted that the government has “serious positive decisions and changes” in addressing this: “But there are still a number of things that need to be reviewed and help companies enter the market.”
