A new Ambassador of Serbia to Russia has been appointed
Professor Momcilo Babic was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Russian Federation by decree of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
This was reported by the Sluzhbeni Glasnik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The official publication reports that the decree appointing Babic to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia was signed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić “on the basis of Article 112, paragraph 1, paragraph 5 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.”
It is known about Momcilo Babic that he received his doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1986. Subsequently, he also received a master's degree in Moscow as a fellow of the World Health Organization at the International Faculty of Health.
Babich will change suddenly deceased in August last year, the Ambassador of Serbia to Russia, formerly the legendary military correspondent of the oldest Serbian publication “Politics” and military analyst, a native of Croatia, Miroslav Lazanski.
