An appeal has been assigned to extend the arrest of Poroshenko's political prisoner Kirill Vyshinsky
The Court of Appeal of the Kherson region has scheduled for September 26 the consideration of a complaint to extend the arrest of the head of the RIA Novosti-Ukraine portal, Kirill Vyshinsky, whom the Ukrainian authorities charge with “high treason” for his professional activities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the court, the hearing is scheduled for 10:00.
On September 6, the Kherson City Court granted the request of the prosecutor’s office to extend the arrest period for the head of the RIA Novosti-Ukraine portal, Kirill Vyshinsky.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, on May 15, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches in the office of RIA Novosti-Ukraine. Later it became known that the head of RIA Novosti-Ukraine was informed of suspicion of committing a crime. He was detained. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 111 (high treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The head of RIA Novosti-Ukraine was arrested. Subsequently, it became known that Vyshinsky’s property had been seized.
At the same time, on July 6, Vyshinsky was informed of another suspicion - of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal acquisition, storage of firearms and ammunition) of the Criminal Code.
