The appointment of Tymoshenkoites to the state mines of Donbass turns into a scandal: traditional “nepotism” has surfaced
Lugansk, April 02 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – A scandal is breaking out in the Donbass around the appointments of new heads of state mines - so, it turned out that the newly appointed general director of the Luhansk Coal State Enterprise, Nikolai Toptun, is related to the leadership of Batkivshchyna.

The head of the anti-corruption commission of the Public Council of People's Trust of the Lugansk region, Konstantin Ilchenko, stated this on his Facebook page.
According to him, there were complaints from law enforcement agencies regarding the activities of Nikolai Toptun, who headed this enterprise in 2011.
Social activists attribute Toptun’s appointment to the fact that his son Sergei Toptun is deputy chairman of the regional organization of the VO “Batkivshchyna”.
“The Toptunov family and the first deputy governor I. Verigina, who heads the regional organization of the VO “Batkivshchyna,” do not give a damn about the opinion of the public, they just want to assign their relatives to the sweet spots and provide administrative resources to their native, now ruling party,” Ilchenko wrote.
He suggests that the appointment of Mykola Toptun “is nothing more than a conspiracy between representatives of the ruling political force “Batkivshchyna” and the executive branch of the Luhansk region, with the aim of illegally using powers to obtain material benefits and services related to preparations for the presidential elections in Ukraine.”
As Navigator reported, earlier the Lugansk regional organization of the VO “Batkvishchyna” stated that it welcomes the appointment of Nikolai Toptun as the general director of the State Enterprise “Luganskugol” and the general director of the State Enterprise “Lisichanskugol” Vyacheslav Terosipov, their party comrades.
