Ex-showman Sivokho, appointed chief of reintegration, went to Donbass
Newly appointed Advisor to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Sergei Sivokho, together with members of the Committee on Human Rights, “De-Occupation” and Reintegration of “Temporarily Occupied Territories,” takes part in a visiting meeting in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Novotroitskoe checkpoint. The first day of the visiting Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on issues of reintegration and restoration of Donbass. Lots of meetings and important issues for today. On the road all day. Communication is the word of the day. With the military, with deputies, with local authorities. And most importantly - with the people who travel there and from there. Everyone is waiting for the return of normal life and development of the region,” said Sivokho.
According to him, politicians next plan to inspect destroyed and reconstructed buildings in Krasnogorovka, Maryinsky district.
Members of the visiting meeting got acquainted with the procedure for crossing the demarcation line at the Novotroitskoye checkpoint, and also learned from the border guards what problems arise in this process.
Also, according to him, members of the committee visited the Volnovakhi Regional State Administration and got acquainted with the problems of the area. At the same time, he noted that the politicians’ trip began with a visit to Mariupol, where perhaps a larger number of displaced people live.
In addition, the people's deputy said that yesterday, October 21, members of the committee visited Shirokino and talked with displaced people from the front-line town.

According to Sivokho, he will be responsible only for humanitarian policy.
