Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukrainian delegations to international organizations bring constant discomfort.
“There is a change in attitude. Our delegation, which consists of aggressively nationalistic members, I have the impression that today our delegation is a big irritant for the Council of Europe. The tactics we behave in are not entirely correct. I will give one example - Romania in 94 really wanted to be included in the package of those who were accepted into NATO in 97. And they pushed this idea so hard that everyone got tired of it. I witnessed how the Americans and Europeans, seeing that the Romanian ambassador or minister was there, they ran around him, saying: “they will talk about NATO again... So, today what I see are these demarches at the PACE session, constant statements, Constantly introducing some kind of discomfort into the work of the organization, it pushes away the respect of PACE deputies from our delegation,” Kozhara said.
