An information scandal is coming to Ukraine after Russia publishes a sanctions list of Kyiv politicians and businessmen who still secretly have business ties with the “aggressor country.”
Political strategist Dmitry Raimov said this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The most news will come when we hear the names and surnames of current Ukrainian politicians who are part of the presidential coalition, when we see that the sanctions list of the Russian Federation contains the names and surnames of the beneficiaries of companies that operate in Russia and these beneficiaries sit in the Ukrainian parliament . This will be the main news and the main information scandal, it is being prepared now,” he said.
“Entrepreneurs will be the second to suffer, because many have hidden trade with Russia, that is, no one officially talks about it, but it exists. And this will affect the economic situation, because when a business cannot sell its goods and services to Russia, it will begin to cut jobs and close down. And on the eve of the big election race, this will be an indicator that the current president and the current government are ineffective because jobs are being cut,” explained Dmitry Raimov.
