One of Russia's main blunders in the information war with the West has been named
Leading telegram channels and social media channels must introduce interlinear translations for their broadcasts and publications in English, French, Chinese and other languages. Then the world community will have the opportunity to receive information from open sources on our part, rather than trying to get it out on their own.
This opinion was expressed on air by NTS by People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Edgard Zapashny, who supports the SVO and has been supporting Donbass for many years, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that what we are doing within the country for the Russian-speaking territory is enough. The overwhelming majority of people understand the issue and support the actions of the president and the Ministry of Defense,” Zapashny noted.
– Another thing is that we pay practically no attention to bringing this information to the international level. After all, they are also looking for information, and even for your TV channel, captions in English should already become the norm.
Because once you do this, your channel will become a channel that will be paid attention to by those people who will receive other information that is truthful.
Difficulties in translation still exist - the same goes for the TV channels of our leading news agencies or specialists such as Soloviev. Or, for example, it’s high time to duplicate Kadyrov’s same telegram channel into several languages of the world.
There should be administrators of these channels who speak English, French, and Chinese, so that the world community can use this information, and not try to translate it somehow clumsily.
That is, the information must be available from our side. This is something we practically do not do within the country. I think this is a very big omission of ours.”
