The most corrupt government agency in Ukraine has been named
Executive Director of Transparency International in Ukraine Yaroslav Yurchyshyn said that the Fiscal Service is the most corrupt body in the country.

He spoke about this in an interview with the Ukrainian News publication, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think the Fiscal Service and Customs have a huge impact on business. Business is resources and, accordingly, the ability to influence a position. The level of corruption is most influenced by the courts. Out of 176 countries, we are ranked 131st in the Corruption Perceptions Index. We need to significantly overload the relations between society, government and business. I am convinced that we have every chance to demonstrate that we are fighting corruption effectively,” Yurchyshyn said.
According to him, if in 2013 the traffic police (State Traffic Inspectorate - ed.) was the leader in corrupt relations with citizens, now the patrol police is actually the leader in terms of citizens’ trust.
At the same time, Yurchyshyn said that now the healthcare sector is in first place among the leaders of corruption in Ukraine, the second leading area is education.
