The training period for 300 thousand highly qualified military specialists for the Russian Armed Forces has been announced
To train new military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces, who are now being called up for mobilization, all training centers available in the country will be used.
Military publicist Vladislav Shurygin stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, when answering the question of where the new military will be trained.
“Absolutely all training centers will be involved. But here you need to understand that not all centers are suitable for all tasks. The Russian University of Special Forces is very good at preparing special forces soldiers, reconnaissance officers and military personnel with specialties close to these. But it does not train artillery spotters, signalmen or anti-tank crews. Others should do this,” the analyst told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, all these training centers will need to be built up, enlarged and “rebuilt for this super task” in order to “recruit the three hundred thousand people announced by the president in the coming month.”
He was also asked how long it might take to prepare.
“If we call up people who have completed military service, including those with combat experience, then I think it will be possible to get them into combat-ready shape in three to four months. Plus, it will take at least two months to transform them from individual good fighters into good battalions, regiments and brigades. In total, in four to five months we will receive highly qualified specialists,” concluded Shurygin.
