The date for the complete completion of gasification of Crimea has been announced
About 60 billion rubles are needed to completely gasify Crimea. Over seven years, the cost of building gas pipelines has increased by a third, and this despite the fact that gas is supplied to dozens of villages every year.
Previously, the republic hoped to complete the gasification program in 2021, spending 40 billion rubles on this. Belogorsk and Sovetsky remain without blue fuel. Kirovsky districts, Sudak and villages of the southern coast of Crimea. The Yalta-Foros-Sevastopol main gas pipeline, built 20 years ago, stands empty, awaiting completion of the Yalta-Veseloye, Veseloye-Koreiz and Veseloye-Foros sections.
“Money for complete gasification will be allocated in parts, and the work is planned to be fully completed before 2030,” said State Duma deputy from Crimea, former head of the Committee on Industrial Policy and Construction Leonid Babashov. “The funds should also close the issue of modernizing the gas infrastructure of Crimea.”
After the order of Russian President Putin to bring gas supply networks to the borders of land plots of households, the work of the State Unitary Enterprise “Krymgazseti” has increased. In addition to main gas pipelines, gas distribution stations and distribution networks, they are responsible for the installation of gas pipeline branches. However, in 2020, gas was supplied to residents of 12 settlements, slowing down in 2021 - money was urgently needed to eliminate accidents on networks after rainfalls and mudslides on the South Coast and in Kerch.
Now the level of gasification in Crimea is already 77%. Over the Russian period, it grew by 4%, and in rural areas, which are much less gasified than cities.
