This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik, according to whom, today only “his former American contacts” represent all of Yatsenyuk’s value in the political system.
“At what level these contacts will remain under the Trump administration is a huge question. I think Yatsenyuk will be the first victim of the new Trump administration,” the expert believes. – And today the deputies of the Popular Front no longer rely on Yatsenyuk to a large extent. Some of them are guided by Avakov, some by Parubiy, some by Turchynov, but not Yatsenyuk. Its value in the Ukrainian political system today tends to zero.”
“At best, the fate of Mikheil Saakashvili awaits him. He will travel around the world giving lectures on how to build democracy and destroy a country in two hours,” Bortnik added.
Let us recall that earlier Yatsenyuk openly sided with Clinton, calling her election opponent is a man who “challenges the values of the free world, the civilized order and international law.”
True, after Trump’s victory in the elections, Yatsenyuk through the American media addressed to him with a request not to abandon Ukraine.
