The amount needed to improve the lives of Ukrainians has been named
To improve the standard of living of Ukrainians, an additional 140-150 billion UAH are already needed, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk during the presentation in parliament of the draft Government Activity Program.
“In order to provide our citizens with a decent level of income right now, it would be necessary to spend approximately 140-150 billion UAH. This money cannot be immediately found in the budget,” Goncharuk noted.
According to him, now in Ukraine more than 10 million Ukrainians live below the poverty line and have less than even the current subsistence level.
According to Advisor to the President of Ukraine Oleg Ustenko, a real increase in the standard of living in Ukraine will begin no earlier than with economic growth of more than 11% of GDP per year.
