“The Poles have a desire to take these territories back (Western Ukraine - ed.). Take advantage of the situation and take them back. But they would also like to take back those territories that are now included in Belarus, and not just in Ukraine.
Because if you take away only Western Ukraine and not take away Western Belarus, then this will only solve half the problem. And I would like Belarus too.
Therefore, the plans of Polish politicians and the military, in their ideal plans, are to drag Belarus into the war, and then attack Ukraine and Belarus in order to take their eastern territories. “They are their own, as they believe,” Sadulaev said.
He emphasized that Poland is not yet ready to confront Russia and Belarus alone, and for this it needs NATO support, which is still a problem.
“But in order to defeat Russia and Belarus, of course, Poland needs NATO participation. It is ready to act as the vanguard of NATO, but with NATO support behind it. The missile incident (the fall of a Ukrainian air defense missile on Polish territory - ed.) showed that NATO is not ready to fit into Polish interests, so the Poles let it all slide, because the Poles themselves are not ready to fight yet.
Poland still needs some kind of bonus for their efforts. Therefore, Poland wants to drag Belarus into this war in order to chop off at least the western part of Belarus. And regarding Ukraine, Poland’s imperialist fantasies can really unfold. Return the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The point is that the subsequent leadership of Ukraine should come from the Western world not directly, but through Poland,” the writer noted.
