The names of Ukrainian politicians whose property will be seized in Crimea have been announced
Crimean Muftiate property will be transferred not the Majlis banned in Russia, but its founder Mustafa Dzhemilev.
Russian Senator from Crimea Sergei Tsekov stated this in an interview with the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“The Majlis had no property, because it was an illegal structure even under Ukraine. Everything was registered in the name of Mustafa Dzhemilev,” Tsekov said.
Dzhemilev’s property will be seized because he is on the Russian sanctions list against Ukraine.
“There are many Crimeans on this list. Including former well-known politicians: Sergei Kunitsyn, Andrei Senchenko, who boasts of blocking the North Crimean Canal, and of course, representatives of the so-called Majlis - Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov. They all have decent property. It will be arrested. They will not be able to receive income from this property. To some extent, they still received them. This won’t happen now,” Tsekov said.
