Prices for illegal crossing of the border between Ukraine and Crimea have been announced
Ukrainian border guards are ready to allow travel to the Russian Crimea for bribes of 500-1000 dollars, despite the ban imposed by Kiev and the current one under the pretext of the coronavirus pandemic.
The former so-called “representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea” Boris Babin wrote about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am burning with Spanish shame for the situation on the border with Crimea,” Babin laments, explaining that Russia allows holders of Ukrainian passports to leave Crimea, but Kyiv does not allow its citizens to enter the peninsula.
“But not the Ukrainian government. There are already stories of dozens of people, old and young, standing in the gray area, about a man who cannot return to his pregnant wife. Nobody cares.
The entry ban is unconstitutional. And with the announced “humanitarian purpose”, border guards allow entry only on President Franklin’s birthday. If he is about 500-1000 years old,” says a former Ukrainian official.
