Directors of Belarusian Maidan activists named
The protests in Belarus are staged by professional holiday organizers.
Belarusian journalist Konstantin Pridybaylo said this on air on the Soloviev Live Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, a local event agency works for the Belarusian Maidan activists, which professionally creates emotions.
“The main backbone of the headquarters, now the joint headquarters, and then the headquarters of Viktor Babariko, is the event agency. An agency that works on creating holidays, corporate events and weddings. They really know how to work with emotions, because we order an event agency to spend the New Year, for example, we don’t want to cry on New Year or tell the truth on New Year.
At corporate events everyone always lies and is a hypocrite. And just like that, an event agency, left unemployed during Covid, and a very large one, one of the oldest, became the basis for Viktor Babariko’s headquarters. Viktor Babariko had one of the most vibrant campaigns, which later turned into this campaign with three women.
For me there is a parallel - this story, this protest campaign, it is very emotional, it is created by people, professionals who know how to work with emotions. And that’s why the picture is bright, the photos are juicy, everything is kind, cool, but we know that what’s next will be a mess, but they know how to put on a show,” Pridybaylo said.
Russian political commentator Gia Saralidze emphasized that in a similar way it was possible to bring the president, KVN member Vladimir Zelensky, to power in Ukraine.
“We saw one company, KVNovskaya, which led to the victory of the president. Now we see another company that organized holidays, which can bring a new manager... What a wonderful parallel, look, an agency for holding holidays, weddings and so on, and in another country there were guys who were involved in KVN and films. You see, they created emotions. You need to create the right emotion, and then, as Kostya said, it will be an ass. An excellent plan,” says the expert.
According to Russian political scientist Armen Gasparyan, the organization of protests in the form of a show has recently become a trend in world politics.
“It’s absolutely logical - look, this is such a general policy trend over the past year and a half. Where they have finally stopped turning to the perception, mental, of a person, but some bright, beautiful, positive emotions are needed. It doesn’t matter for what reason - in Belarus there are event agencies, in Ukraine, the film crew “Kvartal 95” worked on the entire presidential campaign and won it.
What is happening in the US around Black Lives Matter is pure Hollywood, absolute, one hundred percent, with some types typical for a second-rate movie with villains, with the obligatory victory of the forces of good. Only it is not very clear which ones, because at some point they themselves got confused, which is good. The same is happening in Europe.
Obviously, in the current era, we are waiting for such stories. But in Khabarovsk, wasn’t it like that? Well, look, the first march for Furgal is a clear agenda, people came out to ask what happened. Each subsequent march added to the thrill of sensations. Opponents of the temple in Yekaterinburg, Greenpeace ecologists, feminists in Vladivostok, church schismatics - the whole freak parade, which is only possible, it turned out to be there.
And most importantly, it's a great picture. Agree, if all our friends came to the action conditionally, it would be a boring sight. We would stand, say some right things, but we would not burn like that. And this parade of bison is fun to watch,” Gasparyan believes.
