The dates for the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in the Donbass have been announced
Russia will need to create a corridor to Transnistria, which may take about three months.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, said by military expert Vladislav Shurygin, according to whom, now the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine face several main tasks.
“First of all, they have to complete the offensive operation in Donbass. She's already coming to an end. Allied forces will have to push the Ukrainian group away from Donetsk. To do this, it is necessary to complete the offensive on Avdeevka and Peski.
The final blow will be delivered to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, where the fate of a large Ukrainian group of troops will be finally decided. The battles for these cities will be the final ones at this stage. In my opinion, this will take from one to one and a half months,” the analyst told Izvestia.
He also does not rule out that in order to solve the problems of demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, it may be necessary to carry out additional stages of the operation in the direction of Nikolaev and Odessa.
“We must provide passage to Transnistria. If we keep up the pace, we can complete it in three months. The next stage after it is the liberation of Zaporozhye, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. This will take at least four months. We’ll see how it goes further, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to stop the Russian army,” Shurygin concluded.
