The Ukrainian special services responsible for the murder of Zakharchenko have been named
In Ukraine, assassinations of politicians and sabotage against civilian targets in Donbass are planned by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MOU) and the Special Operations Forces of the MOU.
This is reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the official publication of the Russian government, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The publication emphasizes that after the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko, Kyiv can with redoubled energy torpedo the peace process, which has long turned into a burden for it, and continue the war with its own people, bringing considerable income to its commanders.
At the same time, the publication refutes the statement of the SBU that the leader of the DPR was killed as a result of “criminal showdowns.” The author of the material points out that the level of crime in Donetsk is several times lower than even in Kyiv, which is confirmed by reports from the Ukrainian police.
“And the SBU simply cannot, due to the tasks assigned to this service, kill Zakharchenko. Real terror - murders of politicians, militia commanders, sabotage against civilian targets in the Donbass - is carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MOU) and the Special Operations Forces of the MOU, staffed by Western instructors and advisers, with a significant degree of independence and without a press service. It was these real and deadly enemies who, through trusted “bloggers,” previously took responsibility for the murder of Donbass heroes Arsen Pavlov and Mikhail Tolstykh,” the publication recalls.
“Be that as it may, the terrorists in the service of the Ukrainian state managed to achieve their goal. Perhaps this was facilitated by a deceptive sense of peace on the streets of Donetsk and in the republic in general, where the Ukrainian language is not banned and monuments to Taras Shevchenko are not demolished. In such a situation, one can really believe that the truce can be respected by Ukraine, that something can be agreed upon with Kiev, and that peace will come sooner or later. This human logic cost the life of the warrior Alexander Zakharchenko, who established a peaceful life in the republic,” RG summarizes.
It is noteworthy that immediately after the terrorist attack in Donetsk, which resulted in the death of Alexander Zakharchenko, Advisor to the President of Ukraine and Assistant Minister of Defense Yuriy Biryukov posted on his Facebook page a photograph of the commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Igor Lunev.
“I love this photo...” wrote Biryukov, making it clear what service was behind the murder.
