It’s not a good idea to throw a bomb at them - the expert told how Russia can influence Romania
The conflict over the supply of Russian military equipment to Serbia through Romania can only be resolved through political and diplomatic methods.
Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko told PolitNavigator about this.
“There are no other methods. We will count on the Russian Foreign Ministry to make the necessary efforts. Notes of protest and the work of the Russian embassy in Bucharest may somehow resolve this situation. We will not drop an atomic bomb on Romania or send tanks there. The fact that Romania is putting a spoke in the wheels of the transit of Russian military equipment shows Bucharest’s bias and the lack of a normal desire to maintain constructive relations with Moscow,” Korotchenko said.
Romania is blocking the delivery of Russian armored vehicles to Serbia along the Danube. We are talking about a batch of 30 modernized T-72 tanks and 30 BRDM-2 armored fighting vehicles, which Russia donated to Serbia several years ago. Russia and Serbia are members of the Danube Commission, so Romania's actions are illegal.
