“Will not bomb Gorlovka” – Portnov said he supports Zelensky
The new president of Ukraine must begin to implement the Minsk agreements - this is all that is needed for peace in the Donbass.
Former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Andrei Portnov said this on the air of the Internet channel Vlast vs Vlashchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The former official, who received political asylum in Austria, said that he supports candidate Vladimir Zelensky in the presidential elections and considers him capable of ending the war.
“I believe that he will definitely not call and say “Drop a bomb on Gorlovka,” that any transition to another agenda, when the president does not model the war himself, does not provoke it in order to mobilize his Western Ukrainian electorate, in order to earn cheap some kind of pathos and will please your foreign partners. This alone can stop the war there.
There is no need to talk about negotiations, as in the Opposition Bloc they say: “We will go there for negotiations, we will seek peace.” Yes, the new president just needs to stop provoking military actions himself at the points where they occur. This is why there are the Minsk agreements, you just need to want to implement them. Everything is written there,” said Portnov.
