According to him, the names “Orange Revolution” and “Revolution of Dignity” were given rather as a catchphrase.

“For poetry, we could beautifully call the “Orange Revolution”, “Revolution of Dignity” a revolution, but a revolution is when the system fundamentally changes, those who are in power. If we apply this to the events that occurred in one and the other case, then revolutions as such did not happen, the oligarchy was in power and remained,” Shevchuk said.
