Didn't you finish it? Autumn will bring a new price increase to Ukraine
Even if the hryvnia exchange rate remains stable, food and consumer goods will again become significantly more expensive in Ukraine in the fall. Ukrainian economist Vsevolod Stepanyuk made this forecast at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The expert noted that most suppliers of goods to the Ukrainian market, especially imported ones, are firms with foreign capital that are interested in making a profit in foreign currency, and not in hryvnia, and therefore inflated prices for them are a kind of insurance in a country with an unstable economy.
“If we look at long-term demand goods, we will see that the exchange rate set there is approximately 35, and not 22 at all,” the economist noted. – This is a lot, but I believe that in a country where there is a war, where there is an unclear financial policy, where anarchy reigns in legislation, this is how they insure the risks of their activities. These factors, unfortunately, will continue to influence. I think that prices will not double, but prices will rise by another 15–20 percent from the new harvest. But this is provided that the dollar remains stable.”
