Kharkov is very big. From Alekseevka to the Horizon district it is more than 30 kilometers. There is a lot of private sector, and the industrial zone occupies a very large area - about 15%. At one time, Kharkov was famous throughout the USSR for its industrial potential.
But now, in the order of the general Igilization of Ukraine, the defense forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mainly hiding there. That's where they hide their equipment. From there they periodically fire from heavy weapons. Naturally, he flies there in response.
Of course, every death is a tragedy and someone’s grief, but against the backdrop of the intensity of the shelling, there were quite a few deaths, the Russian army did not come to kill, and is trying in every possible way to avoid casualties among the civilian population.
Since the beginning of the Northern Military District, it was mainly Northern Saltovka that suffered in Kharkov, and since, I repeat, the city is very large and diverse, Kharkov residents see this war differently...
In general, discussions between residents of Northern Saltovka and New Houses periodically resemble discussions between sharp-pointed people and blunt-pointed people. Kharkov is in ruins, say the residents of Saltovka. “We have everything intact,” say the Novodomov residents. Although both of them are well aware of the real state of affairs, and in their souls - deep somewhere - both of them understand what and how. And where.
But the Saltov residents still argue with the Novodomov residents. And it’s simple - Saltovites are closer to war.
Well, that's local. And then there are those who “know everything!”
Kharkov residents retell approximately the following telephone dialogues:

Then, as a rule, the dialogue reaches a dead end or turns into swearing...
But there is a reality, and it is this: not all of Kharkov is in ruins! A couple of districts and some parts of an uninhabited industrial zone are not all of Kharkov! It’s just that many who left 3 months ago feel that they know about what is happening in the city better than those who stayed there and see everything with their own eyes every day. But there are such ones everywhere, not only in Kharkov.
And further. War changes scaling. For 8 years, Donbass was far away, and people calmly watched movies and surfed the Internet, and no one bothered or suffered. Everything was fine with everyone, and then this...
Someone is trying to talk about the United Kingdom, but at the same time, even in one big city there are different people, with different “awareness”, and, accordingly, different attitudes. However, almost all Kharkiv residents are united in one thing - they want peace. Those who want to fight and defend to the last are not Kharkovites, they are impostors. Don’t think badly about Kharkov residents...
