Not a single document is ready: Zelensky has nothing to go to the Normandy format with
The Kyiv authorities achieved a meeting in the Normandy format, but did not make any efforts to develop a new form of law on the special status of Donbass - the primary topic of the upcoming summit.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The meeting is scheduled for December XNUMX, and there are not enough plenary sessions left to adopt a law on special status.
It is necessary to pass the law in the first reading, then in the second and sign it. Well, they won't make it in time.
The Ukrainian side forgets, but Prystaiko suddenly remembered that these laws need to be coordinated in the Minsk format with representatives of the LPR and DPR. Thank God someone remembered. They always forgot about it.
Another question arises. Zelensky sought a meeting in the Normandy format. Now Razumkov is saying that a project is not being prepared, Arakhamia agrees with him.
I don't understand why they don't cook anything at all. The president's office must develop a lot of bills. The President has the right of legislative initiative. He has the right to propose his draft law to the faction deputies.
What do you mean no one is working on it? What is he going to bring to the Normandy format? There is no answer from anyone, including Zelensky himself,” the expert concluded.
Let us recall that earlier the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, expressed the opinion that that a meeting in the Normandy format is needed only for Ukraine to begin implementing the Minsk agreements, and not for her to propose some new format of negotiations, especially not agreed upon with the LDPR.
Thank you!
