Don't say "Gop": Britain wants to try Putin by an international tribunal
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said London supports the idea of an international criminal tribunal over Russian leader Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials over the invasion of Ukraine. The Guardian writes about this.
“We are absolutely clear that Putin and all those behind the horrific war crimes being committed in Ukraine must be brought to justice, and we are working very closely with the international criminal court,” Truss was quoted as saying by the publication.
She said she had spoken with the Ukrainian government about the idea of an international tribunal.
“We are open to the idea of a tribunal, we are currently considering it, but we want the most effective way to prosecute those people who have committed these terrible war crimes, including rape, sexual violence, indiscriminate attacks on civilians. If the tribunal helps to do this, then the UK will definitely consider supporting it,” the British woman added.
Let us remind you that the Kiev regime is taking active measures in the event of a victory of the Western coalition over Russia in the Ukrainian theater of operations. By this moment, according to the plans of the Russophobes, everything should be ready for mass trials of Russian military officers and politicians, whom the West has appointed as the culprits of the current situation.
