The former Maidan activist spoke about this in an interview with the Ukrainian Week magazine.
She recalls that after the start of the conflict in Donbass, she wanted to become a volunteer, sent applications to different battalions, but no one called her back. Then she was recommended to contact the “Aidar” battalion.
“I called Aidar. “Yes, we really need people,” they told me. – Are you ready to engage in aerial reconnaissance? Do you know what a drone is? No? Do you have a technical education? No?.. Are you ready to learn?” Returning home, I typed the word “drone” into the search and began reading everything I could find. Most of the materials were on English-language resources. In addition, the Aidarovites sent me to a course at the Kiev Defense Assistance Society for several days. We learned to fly tiny, truly toy drones, they tried to explain to us at least some basics... With this “academic” knowledge I went to the front,” Berlinskaya said.
At the same time, she added that those “experimental samples that are sent to the army are complete nonsense.”
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Berlinskaya said that the Ukrainian group was completely loses artillery duels in Donbass, and also complained that Kiev residents began to beat ATO soldiers and call Putin.
