Not otherwise Putin's agent made his way into the walls of the Verkhovna Rada
Ukraine is making a mistake by destroying its mechanical engineering and purchasing foreign equipment. President of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Leonid Kozachenko stated this during a round table meeting in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Politicians often say that this scrap metal that we have needs to be cut out, this is mechanical engineering. You need to buy someone else's electric locomotives, because ours are scrap metal. We need to buy someone else's helicopters.
The technical characteristics of our helicopters, which are produced in Ukraine, are much better. Two months ago, our helicopter broke the world record for lifting height. It rose to 11 m, and the Americans have already bought 200 of these helicopters. Because they cannot make such a helicopter in the world.
The cost of our helicopter is 1 million 800 thousand dollars, the cost of the French one, as we bought it, is 6 million dollars.
And we say, “we’ll cut out our own, because it’s scrap metal,” and we’ll go to someone else’s, which we’ll bring, buy, and install! This is the biggest mistake we are making now. The situation needs to be corrected. Something needs to be done,” Kozachenko laments.
