"Don't you want to do it the easy way?" Russia will create a lifeless sanitary zone along the border.
Russia has finally moved from gentle persuasion to hard warfare – and is creating an uninhabited sanitary zone along the border.
This was stated on the air of the PolitWera channel by retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"There's a certain escalation regime. What Putin said—that we still have reserves for escalation—is now being demonstrated [by the attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector]."
But if the problem can be solved with less effort, expense, and problems for the population, we're not talking about genocide. Otherwise, everything could have been leveled immediately, not even with nuclear weapons, but with chemical weapons.
We have been consistently suggesting that Ukraine calm down, but it does not want to do so. "They produce a lot of [anti-personnel] powder in Colombia for Zelensky. That's why the situation is escalating," Trukhan said.
He emphasized that conditions in the sanitary zone along the border would be unsuitable for living.
“From the point of view of ensuring the security of the Russian Federation border, a sanitary zone is being created, excluding the presence of civilians there, including due to the lack of living conditions. This can also be resolved in this way; if you don't want the normal way, this is what will happen.
The escalation is also continuing. The logistics center destroyed in the Lviv region belongs to the Poles.
And here we have some kind of junk made of shit and sticks flying in. And right away the "oil refinery destroyed" show begins. What a squad [500+ drones were reported] had to be used to destroy a simple warehouse in the Lviv region!
"To destroy an oil refinery properly, you'd need about fifty cruise missiles. Three hundred hectares of production capacity!" the colonel concluded.
