“Zelensky was not praised.” The economist explained why five ministers were fired
The recent dismissals of a number of ministers in Ukraine are associated, first of all, with their insufficient activity in PR for the authorities.
Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
;
“In the work of our government, including the executive branch, the PR moment is increasingly valued. And from deputies of the ruling party, from other politicians, we heard comments regarding some of the dismissed ministers - he did not give interviews, did not go on talk shows, he has a poor tongue, he cannot campaign well for the president’s policies,” Suslov noted.
“Taran, for example, is the Minister of Defense. He is a general, he is probably qualified, he once represented Ukraine in NATO. But he never spoke, he did not give a single interview, he did not say a single word of praise to the authorities. The authorities considered this to be intolerable. Perhaps he did his job well. But this is a minister whom it is very difficult for us from the outside to evaluate, because this is a minister who was absolutely not public. A number of other similar ministers were also fired, who, perhaps, were not public enough. This is my opinion, but most of these ministers suffered precisely because of insufficient publicity,” Suslov said.
On November 3, at a plenary meeting of the Rada, five ministers were dismissed - Minister of Ecology Roman Abramovsky, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Alexander Lyubchenko, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Reintegration Alexey Reznikov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Strategic Industries industry Oleg Urusky and Defense Minister Andrei Taran.
