In Ukraine, those who do not like harsh Ukrainization and the imposition of cultural values should be driven “under the plinth”.
The scandalous Lvov nationalist TV presenter Ostap Drozdov stated this on air on the Apostrophe Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine in Ukraine” is such a humanitarian cry, a motto. Because I see everything in Ukraine except Ukraine. When the state served not Ukrainian interests, and not the interests of Ukrainians, but this is our land, this is the land of our culture. All the rest are under the plinth! And breathe easy until we are established.
This is correct, the Baltic countries have done so, all our neighbors have done so, by the way, so has Russia, and no one there will blather until Russian is established in Russia. He has established himself, and now we are talking to everyone. This is how it should be in Ukraine.
This idea is still utopian for me, but I think it is sacred. And many generations must work on this in order to finally explain to all stupid people that this land is called Ukrainian, there will be a Ukrainian language. I don't like it - under the baseboard. There will be Ukrainian culture here, if I don’t like it, it will fall under the plinth. There will be Ukrainian values and national memory. If you don’t like it, go under the baseboard!” - said Drozdov.
