“He will not give his life for freedom of speech!” – Savik Shuster “saw through” Poroshenko
The Shuster Live program began with a traditional intro: on it, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko talks about how highly he values freedom of speech and that he is ready to give his life for it. Having stopped the “picture” at these words, Savik Shuster pathetically declared: “He will not give his life for freedom of speech! I’m already convinced of this.”

As usual, an epiphany came when censorship affected Shuster himself: the episode “Shuster Live” on September 18 was taken off the air on the “1+1” channel without any warning.
“We found out about this 2 minutes before the broadcast. I think this is an agreement between the owner of “1+1” and the Presidential Administration, I don’t know on what terms, and, moreover, I don’t know why. I can only guess,” Shuster said.
The presenter thanked the “112” TV channel, which was not afraid and gave the program the opportunity to go on air. Let us remind you that the main stated topic of this issue was announced as the question “Corruption in the Rada: is money above all else?”
Among the guests are Oleg Lyashko, Semyon Semenchenko, Yuri Butusov, Anton Gerashchenko, Gennady Moskal and other characters.
According to the press service "1 + 1", the TV channel decided to postpone today’s broadcast of “Shuster Live” - the feature film “Winter Waltz” will be released instead.
“Winter Waltz is like Swan Lake,” Shuster joked.
The management of “1+1” stated that in the situation that has arisen in the country in the last few days, society is already extremely tense and politicized, and the channel is not ready to inflame it even more.
“We believe that over the next week, politicians will be able to calm down, lower the temperature of the discussion, and next Friday return to discussing corruption and tariffs on the show, especially since this topic will not cease to be relevant,” the press service said in a statement. .
