“They are not able to learn English” – the transfer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to NATO standards failed miserably
Only tiny units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces participating in peacekeeping operations are subject to conversion to NATO standards, despite the fact that even the Chief of the General Staff is unable to speak English.
Ukrainian military expert Igor Koziy stated this on the YouTube channel “Ukrlife,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are three levels of standardization, which the “Svidomo” authorities are silent about. Because, it turns out, NATO standards in the combined system are carried out only for those units that participate in peacekeeping operations. How much is it? This is minuscule. And we are only talking about units, we are not talking about formations or associations, we are not talking about all armed forces, God forbid.
How can you imagine the Chief of the General Staff speaking English? After your humble servant first tried to seat Shkidchenko (Army General, from 2001 to 2003 - Minister of Defense of Ukraine - ed.) at this desk, and it passed, and he spoke, and then went out, was a military representative to NATO , that is, one could say.
Then after that I didn't see any. That is, it was a ray of light, some kind of splash, then it all curled up again and no one needed it. War speeds up processes, but what did we get? The war, on the contrary, mothballed all positive processes,” said Koziy.
“Today we are talking about the economy, about the defense complex. I say, so what? Someone wrote in very large letters on Facebook: we have released the first body armor according to NATO standards. Wow! - I speak.
Elon Musk is thinking about the colonization of Mars, and we are wearing body armor. Do you feel how far behind we are? “Their” level of thinking and our level of thinking,” the expert lamented.
Thank you!
