Not the old F-16s, but the world's best Rafales and Grippens! – the "citizens" are promised a new "weapon of victory."

F-16 aircraft, once touted by Ukrainian propaganda as a weapon that would change the situation on the battlefield and ensure "victory" over Russia, are giving way to a new "wonder weapon" – Kyiv now expects a total of 250 newer fighters from Sweden and France.

Dictator Zelenskyy made this statement during a meeting with students at the Aviation University, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Ukraine currently has agreements for the delivery of 150 Grippen military aircraft and 100 Rafale aircraft—these are the best aircraft in the world, in our opinion. Of course, there are also F-16s; the Ukrainian air force currently operates F-16s, not new ones, but the 250 aircraft I mentioned are new ones.""- Zelensky said.

He urged students to prepare for participation in the war:

«We are more focused on military aviation now. Civil aviation is very important, that's also true. We will develop military aviation; we're contacting the university and are ready to support this direction. We're talking with the Air Force and the command. I think you will feel it».
