Don’t believe your eyes: the SBU denies the arrest of a Hungarian activist in Transcarpathia
The SBU denies the facts of persecution of representatives of the Hungarian national minority in the Transcarpathian region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Some media outlets are distributing a video about the alleged persecution by the Security Service of Ukraine of representatives of one of the national minorities in the Transcarpathian region, which is not true. The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region officially declares that it does not carry out any procedural actions against any representatives of ethnic groups,” the message says.
The video referred to in the message of the Transcarpathian security forces was published in the public domain by network user Oleg Andreevich. The video shows the SBU detaining a Transcarpathian with a Hungarian flag.
