So, what the maydauns have been chattering about for more than three years has come true! They got visa-free! However, they are not completely done yet, and the visa-free regime directly prohibits the employment of Ukrainian Tajiks in Europe as sex workers and luxury toilet cleaners. We are just talking about visiting EU countries as tourists for up to 90 days - without the right to work, having in hand a return ticket and an amount in euros at the rate of 50 eurotugriks for each day of stay in a tolerant paradise. And, by the way, without a guarantee of entry into the EU.

Without waiting for Ukraine to overcome the last inch on the way to visa-free travel, the gunpowder and the impatient fan club of lace panties began to fire crackers and dance in circles. With gunpowder, everything is clear: it needs the slightest reason to strengthen its meager popularity in society. Things are a little worse with the fan club: just like on the Maidan, without reading the official papers, they saw endless prospects for themselves to travel around Europe, get a diploma from the Sorbonne or Oxford and rake in European money with a shovel without any restrictions.

So, what the maydauns have been chattering about for more than three years has come true! They're sick...

Along the way, amid the visa-free chaos and frenzy, we remembered with arrogant pity the “occupied” Crimeans and Donbass “separatists”: if anything shines for all these “traitors” and “renegades”, then only tourist trips to the taiga and to the resorts of the Arctic, if they, Of course, they won’t come to their senses and return to Nenka’s arms.

The authorities of the Genichesk region of the Kherson region began to show concern about the upcoming influx of Crimeans seeking to obtain the coveted Ukrainian biometric passport, opening up an endless visa-free universe. And all kinds of near-Khunta troubadours have already reported that in just one week of April 2017, as soon as it became known about the positive decision of the European Parliament on visa-free travel for Ukraine, Nenka’s biometric passports were issued to 35 thousand Crimeans and twice as many more are languishing in queues to receive it.

To dot the i’s with visa-free travel for Crimea, on May 12, Poroshenko, the “tato of the nation,” gave an explanatory speech. Sternly and without any pretense, the Sweetest admitted that visa-free travel is, in fact, a Cunning Plan for “de-occupation” and the return of Crimea and Donbass to the fold of the United Ukraine through motivating the population (who, in fact, have not wanted to hear about Ukraine for the last three years ).

On May 14, Poroshenko gave additional clarifications, voicing some rather curious things that should be taken into account by some gullible people. Thus, Petyunya expressed hope that Crimeans and citizens of the LDPR will be able to join the visa-free regime. But only in the case “when Ukrainian sovereignty is restored over these territories.” That is, never. However, a loophole is left for “temporarily displaced persons after a certain procedure” with a firm promise “...to be very scrupulous in every biometric passport issued. Very meticulous."

What does it mean to receive the status of a temporarily displaced person? Yes, it’s very simple: for the sake of visa-free travel, Crimeans and residents of the LDPR are required to change their permanent place of residence in their republics to Ukraine and officially receive DP status (from “displaced person”). It is also possible that the mentioned “certain procedures” mean renunciation of Russian citizenship and citizenship of the people's republics.

This assumption is confirmed in another phrase by Poroshenko: “Those citizens who have received Russian citizenship will have serious difficulties in obtaining a biometric passport, because a person in the occupied territory, in the annexed Crimea, must choose whether he wants to be a citizen of Ukraine or wants to be citizen of the aggressor country."

According to the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation, 98% of Crimean residents have accepted Russian citizenship. That's 2 million people. Thus, the entire asset of the gunpowder in Crimea is no more than 2%, and even then, it is unlikely that all these 2% would agree to go to Ukraine and receive DP status for the sake of some kind of passport and the illusory opportunity to gallop around Europe.

In general, Poroshenko’s Cunning Plan turned out to be stupid and straightforward, like a rail. About a day was enough for all sorts of “experts” to understand that the godfather had screwed up and ruined an important matter. The media began to hear tedious explanations that “the president did not fully express his opinion” and “he was misunderstood.”

Now the “party line” bends in a slightly different direction and says that all Crimeans and residents of the people’s republics of Donbass have the right to biometric passports and visa-free travel, who have not renounced Ukrainian citizenship and have not thrown away their blue-skinned passports with a trident. They say that a Russian passport is not a hindrance - if there is a desire.

As Grandfather Mazai used to say, I beg you not to make my bunnies laugh!

You can say and promise anything. But at the same time, we must remember that even before the advent of the “guidance” era, the topic of dual citizenship was a strong irritant for the Ukrainian establishment. With the victory of the Banderocracy, everything only got worse.

Formally, nothing prohibits Ukrainian citizens from being simultaneously citizens of other countries. Article 4 of the Constitution of Ukraine, however, contains some nonsense about “single citizenship,” but it does not directly prohibit obtaining citizenship of other countries. However, in legal relations, no other citizenships other than Ukrainian are recognized within the country. In turn, the Russian Federation allows you to legally have two or more citizenships with the limitation that dual citizenship does not give you the right to enter the public service.

And here we come to the most interesting part. Just a couple of months ago, in March, Poroshenko submitted a bill to Zrada for consideration, according to which all persons with dual citizenship would be deprived of Ukrainian passports. Zrada's deputies were so imbued with their boss's concern that they submitted Petit's initiative for parliamentary consideration as urgent. True, a stir immediately arose in Zrad and alternative proposals were urgently announced.

The reasons are known: in case of a sudden exodus from the country, the Ukrainian people have long covered their patronage with double and triple citizenships in various “safe havens”. Suffice it to recall the scandalous “coming out” of Kolomoisky, who openly admitted that, in addition to the three-pronged passport, he also has passports of Israel and Cyprus. At the same time, the oligarch, with his characteristic cynicism, noted that in Ukraine they treat dual citizenship poorly, while nothing is said about triple citizenship. True, informed sources believe that Benya was not completely honest in his revelations, not indicating two more of his citizenships - Malta and Switzerland.

The topic of dual citizenship shakes the political life of Ukraine with scandals with unenviable regularity. It will suddenly be revealed that the head of the State Fiscal Service, Nasirov, has acquired British, Hungarian, and, as they suspect, also Israeli passports. Then Deputy Artemenko, who proposed to lease Crimea to Russia, will come clean and mention his second Canadian citizenship. And with chocolate Petya himself, the owner of blind trusts, not everything is clear - what exotic and not so exotic countries’ passports does he keep under the floorboards in the kitchen.

Thus, all this talk about Crimeans who have retained Ukrainian passports and have the right to a biometric passport with visa-free rights is a common political bluff and provocation. And before, all those natives and residents of Ukraine, whom the outbreak of “independence” suddenly found outside Nenka, and who wanted to return to live in their native lands, had to knock on the thresholds of consulates and receive certificates stating that they did not have any post-Soviet citizenship. Who said it would be different now? The Migration Service of Ukraine may well require a certificate of renunciation of Russian citizenship from the applicant for a biometric passport.

Poroshenko needs extras, queues at the migration service departments. So that the picture can be presented to Merkel, Macaron and Trump for the sake of further support for the trousers in the confrontation with Russia. Poros has almost no strong trump cards left up his sleeves.

Recently, an extremely unpleasant and disturbing trend has emerged for Kyiv, when many Western politicians, tired of anti-Russian sanctions and fanning military hysteria in Europe, are calling on the huntars to officially abandon Crimea and Donbass, transferring the regime to a peaceful path. But for Poroshenko to admit this means signing his own death warrant and getting an armed fascist rebellion at his fingertips.

Bandera’s followers considered and continue to consider Crimea and Donbass their patrimony, which must be plundered, forcibly Ukrainized and brought to submission. To give in means to finally lose the historical chance that accidentally fell to them in 1991 to build their own ugly, Selyuk, mono-ethnic state, with its neck twisted towards the West. Even despite its complete non-viability.
