It’s not my fault, Crimea left on its own! – hysteria of the arrested Mikhalchevsky
Former Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Petr Mikhalchevsky, arrested by a Ukrainian court, said that he did not participate in the referendum on the reunification of the peninsula with Russia. In addition, following the results of the trial, he assured journalists that he had been living in Kyiv for a year and a half, where he had returned “home,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We will appeal this decision, I do not consider myself guilty. I returned here, home, consciously. I did not carry out any illegal actions to the detriment of the sovereignty of Ukraine, I did not take part in the referendum and I did not organize it in any way,” Mikhalchevsky said.
Let us recall that he became the first head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian peninsula in March 2014 and remained in this status until June of the same year, when the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov insisted on the dismissal of the official. On the peninsula, he was accused of “protection schemes” under the Ministry of Health, as well as abuses with the distribution of humanitarian aid for refugees from Donbass.
