We will not “enter”, but have already entered into a crisis in all respects – Kiev economist
The Ukrainian economy is entering a state of severe crisis, which in the near future will lead to colossal unemployment and total poverty.
Economist Andrei Blinov stated this on air on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was a little surprised by the wording that “Ukraine will just enter a crisis.” Ukraine is in crisis, as evidenced by economic data. Ukraine in May most likely suffered the deepest drop in gross domestic product this year.
To date, the government’s basic forecasts remain at the line of a 4,8% fall, and the forecast of the National Bank of Ukraine speaks of a 5% fall.
Judging by the impact of the pandemic on the economy, we will move approximately along this trajectory. In general, this means a jump in unemployment and a decrease in real incomes of citizens,” he noted.
Let us recall that earlier economist Maxim Goldarb emphasized that, despite the fact that the Ukrainian economy as a result of cooperation with the IMF always suffers huge losses, Kyiv continues to ask the West for these loans.
