Not everyone in the wild eats as well as Sentsov in prison
Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in the Russian Federation, eats a special diet and even takes water hygiene procedures, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia Valery Maksimenko.
“For example, this morning for breakfast he had oatmeal, fermented milk products, including yogurt, and steamed meat balls. For lunch - soup with potatoes and meat broth with pieces of beef, for the second - mashed potatoes with steamed beef, vegetables and jelly. For dinner - fish souffle with poached diet sauce, buckwheat porridge, grated carrot salad, sweet tea and cookies. For an afternoon snack, a glass of kefir,” said Maksimenko.
According to the deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Sentsov has practically regained the weight he had before the hunger strike.
“Rumors about his [Sentsov’s] hospitalization are not true. We assess his condition as stable and good, I would even say satisfactory,” said the deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service, who oversees medical issues.
“The process of his recovery is ahead of all the schedules set by the doctors. As of this morning, his weight was 80,2 kg, that is, he has practically regained the weight with which he began the hunger strike,” Maksimenko noted.
In addition to nutrition, Sentsov continues to receive medication support.
“All organs are working well and the doctors are happy with how the recovery process is going. He remains under the control of doctors, they believe that the hunger strike was stopped more than on time, this allowed us to avoid possible irreversible processes,” added the deputy head of the FSIN.
