“We don’t know who can replace him” - DPR residents remember Alexander Zakharchenko
Tomorrow marks 40 days from today death of DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko. PolitNavigator correspondents conducted a survey on the streets of Donetsk, asking local residents who Zakharchenko was for them, and how they will remember him in Donetsk?
Donetsk residents remembered the leader of the DPR as an honest, fair man, a true patriot of his native Donbass.
People of the older generation, for the most part, admitted that they considered Alexander Vladimirovich their son/grandson, and perceived his death as the loss of a very close person. Among the respondents were young military personnel, for whom the deceased leader was, first of all, a comrade in arms, a friend and “Bateya”.
At the same time, remembering Zakharchenko, almost all respondents noted that after what happened they were looking to the future with anxiety; many expressed the opinion that Alexander Zakharchenko “was irreplaceable.”
