Kyiv, September 02 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The mothers of captured soldiers of the Vladimir-Volyn 51st Brigade came to the Verkhovna Rada, accusing the authorities of unwillingness to facilitate the release of their children, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The separatists call us and say that our children are in captivity - we can come and change them,” said the women, who, according to them, have been in Kyiv for the third day. “And the authorities are doing nothing to free them.”
As you know, the 51st Mechanized Brigade suffered heavy losses as a result of the fighting, as a result of which it was withdrawn from the ATO zone for reorganization. According to Volyn volunteers, the brigade lost about 100 people in killed alone. At the same time, it is impossible to establish the exact number of losses, since the fate of many fighters remains unknown.
The women who came to the Rada found out that their relatives were in captivity either after they saw videos of them on the Internet, or after telephone calls from the prisoners themselves, who were in the city of Snezhnoye.
According to the soldiers’ mothers, the blame for what happened also lies with President Poroshenko.
“We didn’t know who was being elected,” the women complained. – Poroshenko promised to finish everything in two weeks. And now they are going to hold concerts here. There will be no concert, but only mothers’ tears.”
