“Don’t spoil the Maidan” – US policy in Ukraine does not change
US policy towards Ukraine cannot change, since the United States is the beneficiary of the Maidan. Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told PolitNavigator about this.
“It was stupid to wait for changes. The United States actively participated in the implementation of the coup d'etat scenario in Ukraine, and will continue to use it as an anti-Russian battering ram. By and large, apart from some softening of the rhetoric at the meetings, nothing changes,” Korotchenko said.

In these conditions, he believes, Russia should continue to provide comprehensive assistance to the LDPR.
“Russia must continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the DPR and LPR, assist in solving the current problems of these unrecognized republics, issue Russian passports, and include LDPR enterprises in economic ties with the Russian market. For them this is the only way to survive. The war will continue, so the LDPR must create full-fledged armed forces, state security bodies, improve the economy and build a state, even if it is unrecognized,” Korotchenko said.
