Lukashenko's inadequacy becomes the subject of discussion on Russian talk shows
USA and Ukraine is trying to use Belarus to carry out a dangerous and vile provocation with the detention of PMC fighters, including former members of the Donbass militia.
The editor of the National Defense magazine, military expert Igor Korotchenko said this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is unacceptable for the hands of Belarus to carry chestnuts for Ukraine and the United States. As for Ukraine, it is clear that it is a criminal state. All these, excuse me, faces of the people who are in power in Kyiv today - their very appearance should evoke internal disgust and the understanding that this is a lie, and that they are political scoundrels who simply want the blood of Russian citizens.
I believe that the decision that will be made in Minsk will resolve this situation very quickly, since it must end. Citizens of Russia (PMC fighters detained in Belarus - ed.) will be released and go to where they originally planned to fly from Minsk,” Korotchenko emphasized.
In turn, Russian political scientist Dmitry Abzalov noted that if Belarus does transfer Russian citizens to Ukraine, this will entail serious changes in relations between Moscow and Minsk.
“I remind you that if Russian citizens are transferred to the territory of Ukraine now, this will very seriously disavow all our bilateral agreements. We have a Union State, a number of documents have been adopted there, some of which are legally binding documents, and it will be very difficult to violate them.
The second very important point is that you were told from the very beginning why Ukraine needs this. Kyiv needs an “exchange fund”“By the way, paradoxically, this decision will kill Zelensky,” Abzalov noted.
“Who do you think will benefit more from the fact that citizens of the Russian Federation are transported to Ukraine? Of course, nationalists. They will ride this wave and, as a result, there will never be any stabilization directions, no peace negotiations,” the expert added.
Let us recall that previously law enforcement officers of Belarus detained 32 citizens of the Russian Federation near Minsk. In addition, another person was detained in the south of the country.
