Nebozhenko: Zelensky entered into a severe conflict with Ukrainian courts
The judiciary of Ukraine has withdrawn into itself; judges are guided by their own corporate interests, completely disregarding the interests of the country.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who serves the interests of ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It recently turned out that Zelensky had a conflict with the judiciary, this case was related to Poroshenko, and we saw that the situation here is very complicated. Because what we had long suspected happened: the judiciary, I don’t mean the entire law enforcement complex, but judges, prosecutors, investigators, those who face each other in the courtroom every day.
They have become encapsulated, left Ukraine, they protect only their corporate interests, they use, first of all, “whoever sits on what uses it,” first of all, they use the law. This conflict with the conviction of Poroshenko showed an interesting thing: the judiciary is not subordinate to the Office of the President, no matter what they say,” Nebozhenko concluded.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they said that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky had put the country’s judicial system under complete control of the West.
In addition, earlier in Moscow they noted that the attempt to try ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko demonstrates how much the Ukrainian state system turned out to be untenable.
