Non-brothers - roll your lip. There will be no money “on the ball”
Russia will no longer engage in charity towards the former republics of the USSR and the socialist camp solely on the basis that they are “brotherly peoples”.
Political commentator Irina Alksnis stated this on the YouTube channel of the PolitWera publication, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that the Russian authorities have switched to an absolutely pragmatic, rational approach. There is no place for this empathy about “brotherly peoples, fraternal relations, historical grievances.” Why should they help Ukraine, Bulgaria, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and the starving peoples of Africa free of charge? No, only mutually beneficial cooperation and partnership,” she said.
“The other side needs to get used to the fact that Russia will no longer give money. If Russia gives something, then it expects to receive something in return,” noted Irina Alksnis.
