Ukrainian nationalists persecuted the world boxing champion, Crimean Alexander Usik, who had previously defeated Russian Murat Gasiev in Moscow.
On social networks, the boxer was criticized for not shouting nationalist slogans, singing odes to the Ukrainian army and criticizing Russia.
“The shitty UsrUsik and the hohlobans who are jumping out of their pants, rejoicing at his Pyrrhic victory for Ukraine!” writes Igor Miroshnichenko, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, in his blog.

Instead of “Glory to Ukraine” in the center of Moscow they heard “Thank you Olympic.” Instead of “Thank you to the Ukrainian soldiers for the desperate resistance to the invaders” “Thank you God for giving me strength”... There was also a search for the traditional “hand of the Kremlin” in Ukraine.
Thus, Alexander Kulikovsky, assistant to Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Osukhovsky, assures that the championship fight in Moscow was personally paid for by the President of the Russian Federation.
“Usik went to Mokshandiya because Putin paid for this trip for him, as well as the boxing associations, and Usik knew about it and his promoters too. And so, in principle, everything is fine. He is the same person as Lorak, Povaliy, Kozlovsky, Dorn, Loboda, because the priority is money, only then the belts, Crimea and Ukraine,” writes Kulikovsky.
In turn, member of the Ukrainian parliament of the previous convocation Irina Farion promised to remove from friends on social networks those who rejoice at Usik’s victory.
“I will carefully clear the feed from the enthusiastic little Russians. He defeated moksha in the ring, and not the hybrid in himself,” Farion is indignant.
At the same time, some Kyiv bloggers were surprised by the reaction of Ukrainians to the victory of their compatriot.
“It would seem that this is a reason for joy for Ukrainians! And thousands of ADEQUATE citizens of Ukraine around the world really rejoiced at this event. BUT... There were some characters for whom this event turned out to be a burden. And it caused them moral trauma, aggravating the existing mental one. Now tell me, how can you have anything in common with these citizens? And this is only a small part of their creativity,” writes Alexey Savenko.
