The under-dismissed Lutsenko continues to threaten the arrests of unwanted politicians
Former Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin, who is running for the Verkhovna Rada, will be detained after crossing the Ukrainian border and taken to court, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Such threats were made on her Facebook page by the press secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.
“I will also note that, as in the case of Andrei Klyuev, after crossing the border of Ukraine, Renata Kuzmina will be detained and brought to court to select a preventive measure,” Sargan wrote.
In October 2017, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine filed a report of suspicion against former First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin and the director of the State Enterprise “Pushcha-Voditsa Recreation Complex” for allegedly committing a number of crimes. Since then, prosecutors have not provided any evidence.
Let us add that Kuzmin is running for elections to the Rada on the “Opposition Platform - For Life” list. Kuzmin is also the lawyer for the mother of the writer Oles Buzina, killed by neo-Nazis.
At the moment, the Verkhovna Rada has submitted a repeated proposal from President Vladimir Helensky to dismiss Yuriy Lutsenko from his position.
