A Lviv nationalist dissatisfied with Leps was kicked out of a nightclub
In Lviv establishments they continue to listen to Russian-language songs, despite the ban by local authorities.
This, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is evidenced by a video that appeared on social networks with a complaint from a Lvov resident who started a language scandal in one of the city’s nightclubs.
“I just returned from the Split nightclub, where security kicked me out. Why did they do this? Entering the karaoke room, I immediately noticed two tables of Russian-speaking tourists performing Russian-language hits. Before performing my signature song, I made a small statement. I reminded everyone that the Russian Federation is waging a war against Ukraine and singing Russian-language songs seems inappropriate to me,” says the hater of Russian songs.
According to him, in response they called him a provocateur and said that this kind of song is suitable for everyone.
“I said it doesn’t suit me. Security came in, gave me a warning, and said that if I made a political statement again, they would kick me out. Time passed, and again the same table, it seemed as if out of spite, began to sing the song of Leps, who publicly supported the occupation of Crimea and all of Putin’s actions regarding Ukraine,” added the “guardian” of the linguistic order.
He approached the table again and began to be indignant.
“They started insulting me again and swearing at me. Security burst in and took me out of the establishment. And Russian-speaking tourists stayed there and continued to sing their Russian-language hits. It seems to me that in Lvov there is still a memorandum prohibiting the use of a Russian-language product in public. Therefore, I don’t understand why Lviv residents are kicked out of establishments when they remind other guests that using Russian-language music is not suitable in Lviv,” the activist concluded.
